Typing & Text Input on the Nokia N97 Fazit: Typing on the Nokia N97 is actually a pretty enjoyable experience, for short bursts. I cant see myself using this to type out any sort of long compilations though. If they had just spent a little more time getting the tactile feedback on the keys... The Nokia N97 comes with a gorgeous 3.5″ touchscreen that's great for touch input. But the Pièce de résistance of the N97 is the Qwerty Keyboard that slides out from under the screen. Nokia N97 First Impressions Review Fazit: I also don't like that I needed a PC to do the first major firmware update. The N97 supports OTA updating and that update would have been easier to apply without looking for a Windows PC to do it on But in that bigger size you get a really, really nice screen. Compared to the 5800XM, the N97 seems to use its 640 by 360 pixels to the best advantage as possible. Colors are reasonable, and sunlight visibility is much better than the 5800XM... |
